Head to the haberdashery section at
John Lewis for ribbon, string, parcel labels
and butterfly clips. Confetti sells cellophane bags, or get friends and family to help wash and save
small jars.
Storing your lavender sugar
You can make the sugar up to 2 months
before the wedding.
Package in small bags or jars up to
2 months before the big day.
On the label, let guests know to use
within 6 months, and suggest uses –
great in shortbread, sprinkled over a
sponge or stirred into berries.
Print off labels
If you like the labels in the picture, you can print them off here. Cut them out, use a hole punch to make a hole to the left of the tag, push through a pretty ribbon and tie underneath the lid on the jar or around the bag.
Method
-
Mix the sugar and lavender, then divide between small bags or jars.
